Aegina-Agia Marina port

Last summer my brother, mother and me went to the island of Aegina which is to the left of Attica, that means it is very close to the capital of Greece. Which makes it relatively easy for tourists to visit this beautiful destination. We went to the Agia Marina port which is at the east side of the island. And I have to say, I found it to be quite lovely.

My first impressions were positive. I really liked the whole image when we disembarked from the ship. After that, we headed for the hotel. Even though it was a rough walk because the road had an upwards slant and we had to carry our luggage the moment we arrived to the hotel I felt relived. It had a huge garden with some beautiful flowers and a table tennis. The rooms were spacious and had very comfortable beds. The small refrigerator, TV and air conditioner were a couple of very nice additions. Last but not least there was a small pool at the roof of the building.

Then it was time for lunch. We left the hotel and headed for the taverns. We settled at one which had a perfect view of the sea. We ordered our food and I was surprised with the speed and efficiency of the service. Within less than twenty minutes we had everything we ordered right in front of us, and I have to say they were delicious. Later in the evening he headed for the center of the city in order to find a cafe to drink something. We found a very nice bar that had some very appealing fruit cocktail so I said why not? After this exciting day in Aegina we returned to the hotel to get some rest.

The overall experience was amazing. I would really like to visit Aegina again in the future and I recommend you to do as well because I believe you’re gonna love it!
