From today we shall be trying something different. Have you ever heard of Japanese Haiku poems?
Contrary to western poems, Haiku poetry is rather small. Instead of rhyme, haiku poetry is done using and counting syllables. The standard format is 5-7-5 syllables in three lines of text.
Subjects greatly vary from nature and physical world inspired verses to everyday experiences.
In this challenge, we want you to submit your own Haiku in the comments’ section. Feel free to try and do not hesitate to “like” the Haikus you like most.
